Are all your cars dual controlled?

Yes, our fleet of cars consists of late model Suzuki Swifts and late model Hyundai Hatches all of which are custom fitted with dual control foot pedals. This ensures a safe learning environment and allows the learner to build road awareness and confidence with driving.

How long will it take to get my licence?

Depends on your skills and learning abilities. At Ipswich & Surrounds Driving School we show our students the most practical ways to learn.

Will my Instructor fill in my log book?

Yes. At the end of every lesson your driving instructor will complete your log book.

How can I book a driving lesson/test package?

What can I expect in my first driving lesson?

In your first lesson we will assess your driving skills. If you are a beginner, we will start teaching you the basic controls of the car first then gradually move onto more advanced skills. If you’re more advanced we will correct any driving errors you may have and then prepare you for your driving test.

What is a Keys2Drive lesson?

Keys2Drive is an Australian Government funded initiative program. It consists of a free 1 hour driving lesson. During this lesson, the learner, driving instructor and a supervisor or parent must be present. Your driving instructor will guide you through the program and you will learn about road safety.

Do driving lessons prepare your for your driving test?

At Ipswich & Surrounds Driving School we know all the test requirements and make sure our instructors cover everything you will need to know in your lessons. Our lessons are in and around test areas to help boost your confidence on test day.

Can I cancel my driving lessons?

Yes, you can cancel your booked driving lessons, as long as it’s more then 5 hours prior to your driving lesson start time.
